Street Party Success!

My lovely neighbours put on a really great show yesterday. There was a very impressive bake sale, several of the neighbours baked cakes and a couple of my friends brought some amazing, yummy treats. I was a little worried that there was more cake than people to buy it but it almost all went! Turns out, people love cake!

It was a great party, with lots of hard work put in and lots of fundraising went on and Yvette and her family who are doing the 5x50 challenge came to the party so we got to meet up at last! Yvette's lovely mum Brenda is putting on a coffee morning today too and her friend is organising the disco in May (there'll be an update with details of this!).

We raised an amazing £346! There are still plenty of things for sale from my stall so I will be putting these online. You can view the facebook page for the fundraising sales by clicking here.
